The Man Behind the Mission: Mr. Naresh Batra
A law graduate and professor turned entrepreneur, Mr. Naresh Batra brought a rare combination of discipline and creativity to the world of business. Starting with his early ventures in cinema — including building one of North India’s largest single-screen theatres — he laid the foundation for what would become a diversified empire.
His transition into the liquor industry in the 1980s marked a defining turn. Today, under his leadership, Batra Group has:
- Established 3 high-capacity liquor manufacturing units
- Built and leased over 400,000 sq. ft. of commercial warehousing
- Developed modern commercial properties across Chandigarh and Himachal
- Initiated landmark entertainment projects including a 4D multiplex
Mr. Batra’s vision continues to fuel our growth as we enter new markets, scale existing operations, and pursue international collaborations.
